Ausgehend von einer Sammlung von 257 Zeichnungen hat Alec Barth auf zufällig kombinierte Siebdruckflächen eine zufällige Auswahl von Motiven kopiert und zufällig zu einem Heft zusammen gefügt.
Je nach Kontext informieren sich die einzelnen Motive gegenseitig und erfahren unterschiedliche Interpretationen und Assoziationen.
So entsteht eine Edition aus 30 Exemplaren, jedes einmalig in Titel, Farbe, Inhalt und Erzählstruktur.
R ND M N RR T V explores experimental narration and associations with a random combination of imagery.
Starting with a collection of 257 drawings Alec Barth xeroxes a random selection of them on random colored silkscreen prints. Finally he combines them to an edition of 30 unique booklets.
By this each drawing is getting informed by the context and juxtaposition in which it occurs. Narration and interpretation vary highly in every single booklet.
